This part of our main database is absolutely huge, but we can only feature just a small portion of this extremely varied department on-line. Under the circumstances, the selected range we do offer is wide. We try to provide as broad a cross section from right across the music spectrum, incorporating Pop, Soft Rock, M.O.R., Orchestral, Chart and much more, mixing names that are familiar with others that are totally new to you. The department also offers a home for titles not included in the more ‘specialist’ departments, and includes regular selling titles that reflect what our customers are into, plus albums we particularly enjoy our selves and wish to bring to the attention of our customers. To sample a few names… We have a particular fondness for Singer-Songwriters such as Jimmy Spheeris, Pete Atkin, Iain Matthews and Colin Blunstone, as well as more contemporary artists such as Tori Amos, Allie Fox and Pete Droge, who can also be found here. The ‘New Country’ fraternity is represented by Jo Dee Messina, Blackhawk, Martina McBride and Patti Loveless, plus there’s great indie bands such as Yo La Tengo, Deathray Davies, Matchbox 20 and Vigilantes Of Love - All write/perform superb material and feature regularly on the CD Services players. As with all the CDS departments, we welcome any enquiries you may have on any artists and groups we list or feature, but it is equally important that you contact us with details of any you expected to find, but didn’t – Just because you don’t see it, doesn’t mean that we don’t do it – We more than likely do! Once we know what you are looking for, we can either transfer that data from the main database into the shop site as soon as we can, or contact you directly with e-mailed availability and price information – so please don’t hesitate to ASK!
