Welcome to the ‘General’ area of our shop. These departments contain all the music that does not conform to the criteria required by the main ‘specialist’ music departments, and because it is a heavily populated part of the site, it helps to cut down searching time by keeping the data independent of the other department groups. These departments list a selected range of available titles. Many feature ‘offer’ and ‘sale’ prices, and some, in a similar way to the ‘specialist’ areas of the shop, will have several ‘Featured’ sections with reviews. These extend the range of choice by highlighting a selection of new releases and current titles from bands, artists and labels that we are recommending. Our reviews (some with ‘extra information’ links offering more detailed descriptions) are known for giving factual information and honest, direct opinions of the music. We mix accuracy with enthusiasm, and where possible we try to add a certain level of entertainment value to the experience, describing the music as we hear it, and making it an enjoyable read at the same time.
